I loved the location, on the Grand Canal, but also close to many of Venice’s quieter, more family-centered neighborhoods. The room - with a lateral view of the canal, was wonderful - comfortable but elegant, and exceptionally quiet even though it looked out on the San Stae vaporetto stop. The bathroom was excellently appointed as well, with tub-shower, toilet, and bidet. The served breakfast (included in the price we paid) was spectacular, as was the coffee. The baker of the delicious pastries was always on hand, offering up additional treats. The wait staff were friendly, multi-lingual, and attentive. I would go back in a minute!

We had a morning check out - and the lunch box were waiting for us at no extra pay. We needed to book a restaurant - the receptionist found us a good one (after a few our negative attempts).
